Hey Y'all! Quick/Short update. Wallets and packaging are completed! Books are being printed and should be done soon. Everything is looking great.

Now for some...

Lorenzo Etherington's Kickstarter is almost over! He’s up to an astounding $840,000! Why is this Kickstarter up to so much? He’s one of the greatest illustrator/cartoonists of all time. This book is only available on Kickstarter, once it’s over, it’s over. You can’t buy it any other way. http://kck.st/2SdeXkh

So Far, So Good!
almost 4 years ago – Thu, May 14, 2020 at 03:35:54 PM

Thought it was about time I checked in. Manufacturing is going well and everything is on track. There's not much else to say, so far, so good.

Thank you everyone who's filled out the survey. There's only 36 people left who haven't filled it out. Are you one of them? Let me know if you need me to re-send the link.

Lorenzo Etherington has a Kickstarter going on right now for How to think when you draw 3! Check it out! His campaign is up to almost $500,000 and he has 20 days left. I've purchased every book Lorenzo has come out with and they are worth every penny. Each of his "How to think when you draw" books are packed with tons of instruction. I can't believe the amount of work that goes into these. You should note that the Kickstarter is the only way to buy these books. He doesn't sell them any other time. So if you want them, this is your only chance. We don't get paid for this endorsement, we just really love his stuff feel you will too. Check it out now!

Surveys are starting to roll out
about 4 years ago – Tue, Apr 21, 2020 at 04:34:00 PM

Hey everyone, surveys are starting to roll out. Only a few will go out first and then the rest will go out after the initial test. So if all goes well expect your surveys this week. If you move you can still change your address up until the time we ship. Also, we'll be using Backerkit for our surveys so you'll be able to add extras onto your original pledge. Any extras will be shipped together with your original rewards. You won't be charged for extra items until closer to shipping in May and we'll give you plenty of notice. Speaking of extras, we've added the clips. You'll be able to get a pack of two clips for $2. Two designs, one by Parker Jacobs and one by Ralph Thomas. We did it! Thanks to you we can make this thing! Next step... manufacturing.

I usually wait to send out surveys but I think this time I'll send them out soon. If you move before they're shipped we'll make sure you have the opportunity to change your address. We'll be using Backerkit for our surveys and this will allow you to add an extra wallet or sketchbooks to your order.

So... we didn't quite make our stretch goal but I'd still love to make the clips ( by the way,  "B" won the most votes). I was thinking that if we hit $10,000 with add-ons/pre-sales that I would still throw it in for free or maybe just make them available for $1 or something like that. If you have an opinion please leave a comment.

These are uncertain times for sure but currently manufacturing and shipping looks like it will happen within expected timeframes. We'll let you know if anything changes.

Love you guys, be safe, and I'll talk to you soon.

Hi friends! Fred Schroeder & Dave Kellett: Directors of the award-winning comics documentary STRIPPED. That Kickstarter-backed film got to #1 on iTunes, and featured the first-ever interview with Calvin & Hobbes creator Bill Watterson. They're making a new interview series focusing on comics and animation called Story/Line.

Story/Line will be a love-letter to the art of cartooning, featuring in-depth, thoughtful interviews about the craft. These will be deep conversations, in the style of a PBS or BBC interview. Each will be beautifully shot in 4K, with one of the best crews in Los Angeles. Among the four Kickstarted interviews, they've already scheduled with Academy Award-winning Directors Chris Miller & Phil Lord (Spider-Verse, The Lego Movie, and every other great movie from the last decade), Eisner-Winning cartoonist Scott McCloud (The Sculptor, Understanding Comics, 24-Hour Comics Day), and the Eisner-Winning cartoonist Raina Telgemeier (Smile, Sisters, Guts)! Check it out!!

Next up... Melbits!

Hey y'all, this looks pretty rad! Introducing Melbit!  The Melbits POD, is a magical device with physical sensors to nurture, evolve and hatch your new family of digital pixies. The POD is a seamless experience: away from the screen and to the real world in the blink of an eye. Let the screen become not a barrier but a portal, to learn by playing, to foster positive digital habits and use your brain to solve ingenious evolution puzzles in the real world! It's a Virtual Pet (R)evolution!

ONE WEEK LEFT!
about 4 years ago – Wed, Apr 01, 2020 at 10:49:22 PM

Time flies!

Our Kickstarter will end one week from today. We're at over $7,700 with 7 days to go (Lucky 7). There's a lot to be happy about with that but I'd really like to hit the first stretch goal of $10,000 and give everyone a custom metal page clip with every wallet. As an incentive to share the campaign with others I'm giving away a wallet every day until we end April 3rd at 6pm Pacific time. If you've wanted the Tahoe Blue wallet but didn't get one before we sold out - now's your chance! We're giving one away next Friday along with some toned paper refills (also sold out). So spread the word!

STEPS:
 1. Post something about our Kickstarter (http://kck.st/2TnPVjk) on any social media.
 2. Copy the link to your post. (See instructions below if you don't know how)
 3. Fill out this simple form. BAM! All done. Stand by for daily prizes.

RULES:
 • Anyone can enter, you don't need to be a backer of our Kickstarter. Our goal is to spread the word.
 • Enter as many times as you like, it just needs to be a new social media post each time.
 • Post whatever you want but it should include a link to http://kck.st/2TnPVjk   or    www.sketchwallet.com

An now for some...

inki-Drop artist Shelly Rodriguez creates adorably fresh character designs and illustrations. Her Kickstarter features a super cute Plush Peach Crab as an addition to her Crabapple series. Check it out!

Thank you for all your generosity! Until next time... Keep drawing!
